If only it worked like this everywhere, it snows and everything shuts down for days.
For my own future reference: icy snow + cheap whiskey + steep hill that ends in a parking lot (with parked cars) + skateboard with no wheels = really bad idea

That's what I miss about living in NC. We had "snow days" at school even when the snow didn't even stick to the ground. Also, my parents told me recently that Cary's nickname is "Containment Area for Relocated Yankees".
It was my impression it was "Central Area for Relocated Yankees"...same gist though
